Whilst on our travels we received some devastating news that Ian’s brother, Steve, was seriously ill. We didn’t realise, nor did anyone, how serious. We received a call on Thursday 2nd February to say that sadly Steve only had days to live. Ian and I started our journey back home on Thursday. Tragically he died in the early hours of Friday 3rd February.
Steve is pictured above with his wife Deborah, and children Jessica and Johnathon just last October. Steve and Ian grew up sailing with their dad, leaving Mum in peace at home and so the family has asked for donations to the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institute) which can be made at Just Giving – Steven Cuthbertson
Our condolences ~
